Tribute to the Fallen

This was my entry in Germany 2009 Golden Demon. It won silver in Monster Fantasy.

Represents a High Elf Noble Prince from the Lions of Crace, grieving in the rocks of the shore as he mourns the wreckage of his parents ship, unable to return home safely. He proudly wields the family banner, gathered from the ship's broken remains, as his personal tribute to the fallen.

Esta fue mi entrada en el Golden Demon de Alemania 2009. Se llevó plata en la categoría de Monstruo de Fantasy.

Representa un noble Alto Elfo Príncipe de los Leones de Cracia, llorando en un acantilado por el naufragio del buque de sus padres, que no fueron capaces regresar a casa sanos y salvos. Levanta con orgullo el estandarte de la familia, recuperado de entre los restos de la nave, a modo de personal homenaje a los caídos.

me parece increible la postura del leon, la bruma, la ambientacion...te imaginas rapidamente el resto de la escena,,muy triste, mucho drama sereno. 10

the 10 is just for the banner, let alone how immense the rest of the mini is. Stunning blending on the smooth parts of the lion too.

I gotta admit I mistook it as a representation of Lion El Jonson, after just reading 'Descent of Angels'. Still, awesome sculpture and painting. I really like the look of the lion mount.

Sangarunya, lo primero, pon la nota adecuada, y si no, justifica tu nota, pero no comentes para bajar la puntuacion. Lo de que te parece irrelevante el trasfondo de la miniatura no lo veo normal. Volomir: Una obra maestra, no mucho más que decir.
