Captain Cestus 05-Apr-10 #319154 | | Rating: 9 really an excellent mini overall, the only bugbear for me is the neck...it looks 'stuck-on' and unnatural... |

Wiltrichs 26-Oct-09 #306471 | | Rating: - Hi S4mmy.d I used one of the Space Marine MKII Veterans for the torso and legs. Removed some details like the centre of the chest eagle and some small details on his sword scabbard and replaced them with greenstuff blood droplets. The head is from the blood angel apothecary Brother Corbulo. I took his winged blood droplet belt buckle thingy from Captain Tycho (with a lot of sawing and cutting lol). The back pack is a Black Templar backpack with the symbol removed and a blood greenstuff droplet put in its place. Cheers Wil |

Szary 25-Oct-09 #306443 | | Rating: 9 Cool model! Classical pose, painting in style of EM. I love how the gold turned out. Solid job on the freehand pattern. Cheers, Szary. |
Jericho 08-Oct-09 #304938 | | Rating: 10 Yeah I clipped the neck down from the Master of the Fleet model quite a bit when I did mine. The necks on the current metal Marines are all a bit long, and the proportions are thrown a bit off if you don't adjust. Still, it was probably damn close and your other entries did very well so you have lots to be proud of |
Wiltrichs 05-Oct-09 #304656 | | Rating: - Yeah I showed a couple of mates a couple of weeks before the comp. and they pointed out the neck But I was already 3/4 through painting and I still had my duel entry to paint so it was too late to adjust, just had to carry on and hope for the best lol I used the Master of the Fleet head as reference but looking back I should have sunk the head a bit more. The Torso and legs are part of the same original mini, it is one of the MKII Space Marines Veterans.
