I used 3 colors for washes (all Testors brand): Rubber (dark brown), Rust (most of the rust wash), Light Brown (for a lighter rust wash).

Finally nice to see terrain scoring better than 7. This is great. I think I'm gonna have to start experimenting with enamals for some things, what colour did you use for the rust?

The rust fx is a wash. I paint w/ enamels, which make nice washes (just thin w/ mineral spirits).
